Аннотация: На основе анализа литературы cформулированы актуальные вопросы современной физиологии растений. Дано определение экологической физиологии растений, показаны ее связи с различными науками. Отмечены практические аспекты использования знаний о взаимодействии растений со средой в области изучения и охраны биоразнообразия, рассмотрена основная проблема физиологии растений.

Summary: Based on the analysis of the literature, topical issues of modern plant physiology are formulated. The definition of ecological physiology of plants is given, its connections with various sciences are shown. Practical aspects of the use of knowledge about the interaction of plants with the environment in the field of studying and protecting biodiversity are noted, the main problem of plant physiology is considered.
